I've recently started eating here for breakfast and now it's one of my favorite go-to places for juevos a la Mexicana. I order it with bacon and beans with flour tortillas. This morning it came with five slices of very tasty bacon, the most bacon ever from any restaurant anywhere. The beans had melted cheese on top as well as the eggs with its trio of jalapeños, onions and tomatoes. The only minor gripe I have is with the flour tortillas. They get hard very fast after they're brought out. My friend and I waited a few minutes for a table since they always have a good morning crowd. Once seated a server came by about three minutes later and took our drink order. She returned promptly and took our food order. As busy as they were the food came out to us in a reasonable amount of time somewhere between seven to ten minutes. Once we had our food the server never came back to check on us. I had to flag down another employee to fetch a to-go container for my leftovers since I could only eat half of the generous portions of eggs, beans and bacon. The ambience fits the small to medium dining area uncluttered with a lot of curios other Mexican cafés seem to think are required. In the final analyses this place is worth going to for a great and hearty breakfast in a fairly reasonable price range.

We were shopping next door at the Bluebird Farm Stand and just happened to see La Plazita as we were leaving the other shop. We hadn't been here before so we decided to give it a try since it was so close. Boy am I glad we did! YUM! We started with the Queso and the guacamole as well as the chips and salsa. Super impressed with the guacamole- tasted fresh and not packaged like a lot of places where it's loaded with lime and just junk. This had fresh onions, tomatoes, cilantro...so good! My hub got the carne asada and said it was the best he has ever had. Tender, well seasoned and delicious. The rice and beans were outstanding as well. I got a cheese enchilada, a fajita wrap and a side of charro beans. All very good, but the CHARRO BEANS...OMG. Next time we go (and there will be a next time very soon!), I just want a bowl of those beans and some of their very tasty tortillas along side because I could make a meal of a big bowl of those amazing beans!! So glad we stumbled on this place because now we have a new favorite place in Tyler!! Excellent service too!!

Driving through Tyler, I spotted a sign that said "Breakfast". We don't normally eat breakfast, but I pulled a u-turn and pulled into La Plazita. Upon entering this brightly decorated Mexican restaurant, we were quickly greeted and seated immediately at about 9:50. We were quickly greeted by our server, Mayra, who asked us what we would like to drink with a big smile. After ordering 2 coffees, I asked he the difference between two items from their menu, Guerrero Scramble and La Plazita Scramble. She said "let me tell you, those two dishes are very spicy! One is green and the other red". I looked back at the menu and sure enough the La Plazita said green and the Guerrero red. I said "Gringo beware" with a smile and she smiled back and said "Very spicy ". I ordered the green and my wife the red. The meals were spicy but delicious! We loved it.

Love to eat here. Very nice staff and clean! The food is always good. I've noticed most people that don't like the food are the same people who like chain restaurants that serve Tex-mex lol smh example jalapeño tree their food taste like TV dinners lol

This place looks so cute from the road I decided to stop by, it looks like a cute outdoor seating area, but I choose to eat inside due to the heat. Upon entering, I was like yikes, doesn't look like it what you see from the road, but I decided to stay. The chips were wonderful, very thin and perfectly fried, loved the salsa. I got chicken locos tacos and I loved them. I will definitely be back. I plan on trying them for breakfast. Staff I encountered were super nice. If you don't mind a very low key appearance of the restaurant but care more about good food, I would recommend.

This place is absolutely delicious!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was the three enchiladas and the southwestern chicken breast meal. Very good food and will be back for more ! The service was also very good. Can't wait to go back ! Came back for the second time on Sunday. We had to try the menudo. It hit the spot, good and warm for a cold day.
